Who is Kolkata’s new Mystery Spinner Suyash Sharma ?

In the IPL 2023, Kolkata won its first match of this season against Bangalore. In his home ground, Kolkata won by 81 runs. The hero of this match was Shardul Thakur, who played a tremendous job for taking Kolkata on to a big score. He faced 29 balls and scored 68 runs.

After this KKR found his new spin bowler named Suyash Sharma. Suyash bowled nicely and took 3 wickets in his debut in IPL. Due to this effective bowling, this young bowler is now India’s new “mystery spinner”.

About Suyash Sharma:

KKR took him for 20 lakhs in the base price. KKR’s CEO Venky Mysore said after including Suyash in auction that they have a high budget in the spin department but he got Suyash in 20 lakhs.

Venky Mysore said that Kolkata scout found him in under-25 matches. IPL was the big stage for Suyash before that neither played any international T-20 matches nor List-A or first-class matches. Suyash played for Delhi in Under-25 where the KKR scout found him.
